August is shaping up to be a huge month across Parkes, Forbes, Condobolin and West Wyalong!

This month, we have 8 auctions booked across the region. In Parkes, Nick Kelly, Tania Cole and Tracie Robertson are presenting a range of properties ranging from vacant commercial blocks to idealistic lifestyle properties. On the 11th August the iconic Town Clock Tower, 23 Forbes Road, formerly known as the ‘Cafe 1873’ site, 55 Rose Street, 3 Middleton Street, 8 Langlands Street and and 52 Old School Road will go under the virtual hammer.

We are excited to welcome you back to our Forbes Auction Centre, now that covid restrictions have eased. In Forbes, both ‘Hermies Aggregation’, a 2,060* acre mixed farming enterprise located near Forbes and 18-20 Reymond Street a huge block in town with potential (STCA) for development will be going under the hammer.

Oscar Freeman has proudly presented ‘Gleneda’, 580 acres located at Burcher, this property will aslo be going under the hammer later this month. The auction is to be held at the West Wyalong Ex Services Club and will be called by Ray White Rural’s Managing Director, Stephen Nell.

Our Rural sales team will have the opportunity to take part in the Regional Development Australia, Agribusiness Today Forum. For more than 25 years the Agribusiness Today Forum has brought together expert speakers to give an insight into domestic and international market trends, the opportunities for improving productivity and sustainability, and increasing market growth. Our in house drone pilots, Maigan, Gracey and Talesha will also be attending a day long workshop to sharpen their flying skills this month.

But wait there is more. The Central West Group sales team will be travelling to the Gold Coast for the Ray White Rural Annual Awards and Connect Conference featuring eight incredible keynote speakers including Janna Pitman, (2021 Sports Hall of Fame inductee) Samantha Bloom, Duncan Wardle (Former Vice President of Innovation and Creativity at The Walt Disney Company) and so many more. There is a huge variety of break out sessions scheduled, many of which are being hosted by many recognisable personalities and leaders including Pip Courtney (Host of ABC’s landline) and David ‘Kochie’ Koch.

In other news, this month we will sadly farewell Connor Robertson as he embarks on an exciting new career as an Officer Cadet in the Royal Australian Air Force. Connor ‘s cheekiness and charm will be greatly missed in the office.
Throughout July, our property management team and have observed an increase in the number tenants applying for available properties, applicants are encourages to submit current supportive documentation and strong references when applying.
